NAVIGATION DATA

As you browse our site we collect some of your data for the purpose of analysis and information processing, your preferences, browsing experiences. We use technologies such as cookies (our own or third-party) to perform this activity. The collection of data through the use of cookies is done only with your express consent (Art. 6 lett. a, GDPR). We notify you of this via special banner at the bottom of the site when you first log in. Within our “Get in on the Action” area you can decide to help us carry out our projects by donating: you can make a donation, of money or time by becoming our volunteer.

Can we do this without your consent? Yes, this data can be processed without express consent because it is necessary to perform the donation contract (Art. 6(b) GDPR).

How long do we keep this data? This data is kept for 10 years as required by law (Art. 2220 Civil Code).

When you decide to become our donor for us, a journey begins with you. That’s why we will jealously preserve your registry within your “Diary” on our in-house management system. We will keep your journal up to date for 5 years after your last interaction with us, after which we will delete all your data permanently, except those we need to fulfill legal obligations.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER

If you decide to donate your time to help us carry out our projects you can send your personal and contact information directly through our website.

Can we do this without your consent? Yes, you do not need to give us your consent in case you want to become a volunteer. We will process this data to fulfill a request from you (Art. 6(b) GDPR).

How long do we keep this data? Your data is stored within a digital “Diary” that we jealously guard. Data is retained for 5 years since your last interaction with us, so since your last volunteer experience, your last donation, the last time you read one of our newsletters and/or interacted with us. After this time, your data will be permanently deleted.

In the event that you give a donation to ASCS, of money or time, we will also process your e-mail address to update you on the progress of your donation and to share with you donative opportunities similar to the one that prompted you to participate in our projects.

Can we do this without your consent? Yes, this data can be processed without express consent because it is processed by us as a non-profit association and with the appropriate protection guarantees (Art. 6(f) GDPR).

How long do we keep this data? We keep your e-mail for 5 years from the time of your last interaction with us. By “last interaction” we mean, for example, the last time you opened one of our newsletters, or made a donation to us. At any time you can ask us for more details about how we store data about you and request at any time that it be deleted from our databases. You can exercise your rights through the appropriate unsubscribe link at the bottom of the communications we send you or by writing to info@ascs.it.

On the site you can also sign up for our newsletter and in this case we will process your first name, last name and address the e-mail address.

Can we do this without your consent? Yes, because we are carrying out a request from you (Art. 6(b) GDPR).

How long do we keep this data? We will keep this data for 5 years from the time of the last interaction with us. At any time, you can still request that your data be deleted, and we will do so immediately.

How do we process your data?

Your data is processed using appropriate tools and procedures to ensure its security and confidentiality, and may be processed through our website as well as through other electronic tools (e.g., internal management) and sometimes using paper media. In addition to the Data Controller, in some cases, other subjects involved in the organization of this Web Site (administrative staff, sales staff, system administrators, etc.) or external subjects (such as third party technical service providers, hosting providers, IT companies, communication agencies, data entry agencies) appointed, in the hypotheses provided for by the regulations, as Data Processors by us may have access to the data. Where is your data?

The processing we do with your personal data takes place on European soil. We chose partners who would allow us to keep the data within the Union, in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations. Your browsing data (IP address), on the other hand, through the installation of cookies, may be transferred outside the European Union and in particular to the United States (by way of example, Google).

Who accesses your data?

Your data may be made accessible to employees and collaborators of ASCS in their capacity as data processors and/or system administrators and/or other entities (by way of example: professional firms, consultants, software houses that provide us with management software, etc.) that perform outsourced activities on our behalf, in their capacity as external data processors.

In no way do we disseminate your data.

What are your rights?

As a data subject you have multiple rights. For example, the right to obtain, in the cases provided for, access to your personal data and the rectification or deletion thereof or the restriction of processing concerning them or to object to processing (to find out what all your rights are you can consult the Regulations in Articles 15 et seq.). Right of complaint

Should you feel that the processing violates your rights in any way, you can lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority by checking the procedures on the website www.garanteprivacy.it. Protection of children’s privacy

This website is intended for a general audience; however, its services are intended for people 18 years of age and older. We do not solicit, collect, use, or disclose personal information provided by persons under the age of 18 online. Should we discover that we have personally collected data from a minor, we will delete it immediately.
