Sparks of Welcoming: ten years of stories on the way
Scalabrini House 634 turns 10 years old.
A milestone that tells more than the passage of time: it tells of relationships, dreams, paths and human entanglements that have made this house a point of reference for so many people.
In these 10 years, we have welcomed more than 250 young people and families, involved more than 2,500 people in courses and activities, and raised awareness of 15,000 people on the issues of human mobility and reception.
Important numbers, but they are not enough on their own to tell the story of what Casa Scalabrini has become: a living network of support and sharing, made up of names, faces, and stories.
Steps and dreams have crossed paths here: those of those who have arrived in search of a new beginning and those of those who have chosen to set out alongside others, through volunteering, training, listening.
The house has lived and continues to live through every encounter: in the reception, the courses, the desk, the cultural and daily activities that make this place a collective and transformative experience.
10 Years of Scalabrini House 634 is 10 years of humanity in motion, of hope and dreams of the future.
And we are just at the beginning.
