A House that welcomes changes the world
A House that welcomes changes the world
Right now, thousands of people are crossing borders, seas, deserts. They seek safety, dignity and a future. But too often they find only more borders to cross.
In Italy, Spain, France and South Africa, Scalabrinian Missionaries have chosen to keep their doors open.
Four Houses, four ways of welcoming: from unaccompanied minors to youth and families on semi-autonomy pathways to people in transit.
Each House operates in a specific context, positioning itself at pivotal points of the world’s most complex migration routes: Cape Town, which is located on the southern African continent, Calais in Northern Europe, Ceuta between Africa and Europe, Rome in the heart of the Mediterranean. Each offers safe spaces and concrete accompaniment: protection, psychological support, legal guidance, training, and individualized paths to autonomy.
Welcoming changes the world, one person at a time.
But to keep these doors open we need you.
This Christmas, choose to welcome. Your donation will enable the Houses of Calais, Cape Town, Ceuta and Rome to continue to be places where hope does not die, but is rekindled.
