The World at Home 2021: music, art and flavors from around the world

The World at Home project, promoted by ASCS – Scalabrinian Agency for Development Cooperation in collaboration with the Church of Carmel, aims to create a channel of communication between the various realities in the area. In May and June 2021, at the Carmine Church in Milan, Italy., four migrant communities(Ethiopia & Eritrea, Hungary, Brazil and Bangladesh) will make their reality known through cultural, folkloric and gastronomic events.
The goal of the project is to stimulate and grow dialogue and sharing between migrant communities and the local community, with the belief that knowledge cancels out the fear of the other, especially when they are different from us in language, culture or religion.
Due to the epidemiological emergency, it will be possible to open the events to a limited number of participants upon online reservation. However, it will also be possible to follow us remotely on the Facebook pages of ASCSand of Milan Ethno TV.
