A New Van for the Santissimo Redentore Soup Kitchen: A Gift That Inspires Solidarity

Every day, at the Santissimo Redentore Parish Soup Kitchen, more than 100 people find much more than just a hot meal: they find a place where they feel welcomed, listened to, and valued.

These are people going through difficult times—local residents and those on the move. Their diverse stories come together here through relationships, humanity, and a community ready to walk alongside them.

Wonderful news for our community

That’s why we’re happy to share some good news: we’ve received a new van as a gift—an essential tool for supporting the soup kitchen’s operations and continuing to be there for the people we serve every day.

As ASCS, we support this organization, which was founded in 1990 thanks to the efforts of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and the invaluable collaboration of the Parish of the Most Holy Redeemer and the Scalabrinian Fathers. It is a place where, every day, people not only find sustenance, but also build relationships, trust, and bonds of solidarity that restore dignity and hope.

This new resource will help us carry out this mission even more effectively, reaching and supporting those who need it most.
