Thank you to every donor and runner who ran with us at Run4Rome. Your commitment turned into something concrete: 29 welcome kits purchased.

On Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Run4Rome, the streets of Rome were filled with thousands of runners. Among them were you – wearing an ASCS jersey, short of breath and big of heart – and you ran for the young guests of Casa Scalabrini 634.

Every mile traveled, every donation received, turned into something tangible: a welcome kit, which for us at ASCS means welcoming, making anyone who arrives feel immediately at home.

For many of the boys at Casa Scalabrini 634, this is the first place they can call ‘home’ after years of centers, dormitories, temporary accommodations. This is where they begin to plan for the future. – Andrea, Scalabrini House Coordinator 634

The impact of donations

29 Reception Kits guaranteed for Scalabrini House 634 for 2026. Each Welcoming Kit is prepared for each person who arrives at Scalabrini House 634. Simple, essential items-that remain his forever, even when he leaves for independent living.

The project supported

Casa Scalabrini 634 is the ASCS-operated facility that houses refugees, young adults and families in semi-autonomy who have completed their journey in ministerial shelters.

Since 2015 to date, we have welcomed about 400 people. Every year about 60 people pass through here-each stays about six months, the time it takes to build the foundations of their independence.

Funds raised during Run4Rome go directly to support this run, ensuring that every new arrival finds a place ready to welcome them.
