ASCS International Volunteer Training Course – 2026 edition
Have you ever thought about not just watching the world, but trying to change it one little piece at a time? If you feel the desire to better understand the challenges of our time and reach out, you are in the right place.
ASCS is launching its International Volunteer Training Course again this year. It is not just a series of lectures, but a real path of growth. We want to build together a “culture of encounter,” break down the walls of prejudice and give you all the tools you need to understand the complex world of migration.
What are we going to do together?
The goal is clear: to foster personal and community empowerment. Through this course you will acquire specific skills, engage with experts and other motivated young people like you, and learn to recognize the richness that comes from diversity and dialogue between cultures.
When and Where.
The 2026 edition of our volunteer training course will be held in Turin, Italy, at the Provincial House Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (Mary Help of Christians Square, 35).
The course consists of 3 intensive weekends. Mark these dates on your calendar:
- Feb. 21-22
- March 14-15
- March 28-29
Schedules: On Saturday we will be together from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and on Sunday we will conclude at 1:30 p.m.
And after the course? Off you go! (But only if you want to)
Training is the first indispensable step. At the end of the meetings, according to the needs of the moment and your aptitudes, you can live a concrete experience at one of our Scalabrinian missions, in Italy or in the world. It will be a valuable opportunity to experience firsthand the beauty of encounter and sharing.
An important clarification: attending the course is mandatory if you wish to leave with us, as we want every volunteer to be prepared and aware. However, leaving is not binding: once you have completed the volunteer training, you are free to choose whether to set out or to stay here, enriched by this experience.
