The World at Home 2022: music, art and flavors from around the world
The World at Home project, promoted by ASCS – Scalabrinian Agency for Development Cooperation in collaboration with the Church of Carmel, aims to create a channel of communication between the various realities in the area. In May and June 2022, at the Carmine Church in Milan, Italy., four migrant communities(Pakistan, Colombia, United Kingdom and Algeria) will make their reality known through cultural, folkloric and gastronomic events.
The goal of the project is to stimulate and grow dialogue and sharing between migrant communities and the local community, with the belief that knowledge cancels out the fear of the other, especially when they are different from us in language, culture or religion.
