Il Mondo in Casa 2024: music, art and flavors from around the world
Il Mondo in Casa is a project, promoted by the ASCS in collaboration with the Chiesa del Carmine, with the aim of creating a channel of communication between the various communities in the area. In May and June 2024, at the Carmine Church in Milan., four migrant communities(Argentina, Japan, Bulgaria and Tunisia) will make their reality known through cultural, folkloric and gastronomic events.
The goal of the project is to create and grow dialogue and space for encounter and sharing between migrant communities and the local community, with the belief that knowledge cancels out the fear of the other, especially when they are different from us in language, culture or religion.
