Project Objective.
The main goal of the project is to increase critical understanding of global challenges related to international migration and human rights among the Piedmontese citizenry, with a particular focus on young people. In addition, the project aims to incentivize and increase the practical engagement of advocates and activists in promoting welcoming and awareness-raising activities on migration issues.
Target audience and beneficiaries
- 100 young Piedmontese people between 15 and 30 years of age already sensitized to the issue of migration and already involved in educational or volunteer experiences.
- 250 young people from Piedmont with little or no awareness of project issues, to be involved through meetings and training activities.
- 300 participants at public events and 1,500 young followers of ASCS social channels involved in digital outreach.
- 5,000 readers and visitors reached through media and social media.
The ultimate beneficiaries include migrants or people with a migrant background, who will benefit from a more welcoming and inclusive social environment, and the Piedmontese citizenry, who will be sensitized on issues of welcome and social justice.
Planned actions
The project includes several actions aimed at raising awareness and actively engaging young people on issues of migration and human rights. The main activities include:

- Experiential camps in Piedmont to offer young people the opportunity to have firsthand experiences and learn more about the topics covered.
- Cultural events and workshops in different locations in Piedmont to raise awareness of issues of inclusion and welcome.
- Digital activities and social campaigns aimed at reaching a wider audience through informative and interactive content.
