Remix Milan 2025-2026: intercultural workshops for youth and parents, citizens of the world
What is it?
These are cross-cultural workshops for youth, for parents and intergenerational.
Each workshop is a space to meet and socialize with expressive, artistic, playful, movement activities, group dynamics and more to confront one’s cross-cultural experience by sharing challenges and potential.
You can participate in the whole course, but also in one meeting only. Participation is free of charge.
For whom?
Remix is for you if you…
- you are a young* person born and raised in Italy but with origins other
- you are a young* born elsewhere, arrivedə here a few months or a few years ago
- you are a young* person who feels like a citizen of the world and is eager to engage with peers from here and elsewhere
- you are a parent with a history of migration: you live in Italy now, long or short time, you raise your figlə here and you want to compare yourself with other parents and figlə living among many cultures
(*between the ages of about 17 and 25)
Where and when?
1) Remix workshops are scheduled in the Neighborhood Houses of Milan’s City Hall 1 and at ASCS headquarters in Milan, according to this schedule:
- Saturday, 11/10/2025 from 3-5 p.m. at the Scaldasole Neighborhood House at 3/A Scaldasole Street: Balance in Motion: the art of being among multiple cultures
- Saturday, 25/10/2025 from 3 to 5 p.m. at ASCS headquarters in Carmine Square 2: Parents and children: the art of growing up together
Workshop in collaboration with Wasi Project
- Saturday, 08/11/2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Scaldasole Neighborhood House at 3/A Scaldasole Street: My migration and/or intercultural journey: stages, challenges and resources
- Sunday, 11/23/2025 from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Garibaldi-Strehler Neighborhood House at 2 Strehler Street: Let’s play interculture!
Workshop in collaboration with Scalamusic
- New workshops will then follow from January 2026! Stay tuned 🙂
2) We are willing to bring intercultural youth, parenting or intergenerational workshops to interested groups, associations and realities in two or three “take-away” meetings.
